Welcome to PearlRichards Foundation

PearlRichards Foundation is a project set up by Richard Boateng, to help bring interesting unique ideas and concepts together and turn them into sustainable projects or business enterprises which have developmental impacts. To achieve these I embrace ideas and concepts from people, research on them and develop them into sustainable projects with a development focus.

Currently, a team of collaborators and I are working on TESS Africa, a Technology, Entrepreneurs Seminar Series which seeks to inspire African students into technology entreprenuers (www.tessafrica.org). You can read about our seminar series and new projects established from these seminar series. We are also working on a Traditional Medicine Initiative, where we week to use technology to promote, educate and protect traditional medicine in Africa.

In terms of research, I am exploring mobiles for development, reviewing ICT4D policies in Africa, electronic games and society. We will soon be sharing the reports of our findings.
