Andrew S. Defor, Consulting Director, Traditional Medicine Initiative
Andrew Defor is a Medical Biochemist by Profession with specializations in Plant Pharmacology, Medicine and Biotechnology from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He has extensive experience in Pharmacological Research, Pharmaceutical Drug Regulation and Essential Drugs and Medicines Policy from his work at the Noguchi Memorial Institute of Medical Research, Food and Drugs Board and the World Health Organization respectively. He collaborates with PearlRichards as the Director of the PearlRichards' Traditional Medicine Initiative. Andrew is assisting the foundation in working with traditional medicine research and development institutions to promote, educate and protect traditional medicine in Ghana.
Dr. Olumide Babatope Longe, Cyber crime and Allied Research Consultant
Dr. Olumide Babatope LONGE, is on faculty at the Department of Computer Science, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria. He holds a National Diploma in Electronics Engineering from the Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti, Nigeria, a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria, a Master of Technology Degree in Computer Science from the Federal university of Technology, Akure. His PhD research at the Department of computer Science, University of Benin City focus on the design and implementation of an outbound antispam system for filtering fraudulent (419) mails. His scholarly publication has appeared and has been quoted in reputable peer-refereed Journals, Conference proceedings, Newsletters and edited books.
A recipient of the prestigious John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Award, he is an Associate Director of the Institute for Cyber Security and Allied Research at the International Center for Information Technology and Development (ICITD), College of Business, Southern University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Longe is a member of the IEEE, ACM, the International Association of Engineers (IAENG), Computer Professional of Nigeria (CPN) and the Internet Society (ISOC). A speaker at information security and allied research conferences and workshop, he is actively researching into cybercrime causation, apprehension, treatment, prevention using social theories and information security models. Joshua Amenyo, Graphic Artist and Cartoonist, Traditional Medicine Initiative
Joshua Dela Amenyo is name. Joshmanga and JoshD are my nicknames. I am a graphic and web designer. My passion for Illustration started at the age of 8. My best friends are pencils and computers. I draw during my leisure times. movies, music and video games take my time when am not working or drawing. I like to have a good laugh at all times. No need to be so serious at least sometimes. I am easy to get along with and serious with my work too. I like to produce spectacular works.

Sheena Lovia Okai volunteers on the PearlRichards gender development project (www.ewuraba.com) in an advisory role in leadership training and contribute to developing leadership and marketing skills programs for young women and girls in Universities and High schools in Ghana.She has a bachelor of science degree in marketing from of University of Ghana Business School.
Sheena also works as a research assistant at the University of Ghana Business School. Her research activities included proposal writing, supporting literature review and referencing for articles on e-banking, e-marketing and customer service. In 2009, Sheena won a year abroad scholarship to study Advanced Marketing for a year at the Harstad University College, under the sponsorship of the Norwegian government. In Norway, She applied practical problem-based learning techniques to study major marketing principles in the areas of Electronic Commerce (e-commerce), Business-to-Business marketing, Consumer behavior and Branding, with an introductory course into International marketing. Her final individual project was on affiliate marketing, a commission- based arrangement where referring sites and individuals collectively known as publishers received a commission on sales or leads they generated, by advertisers. After a year of hard work, her group research project on the “influence of colour on consumer purchase intention” was presented with the University’s best thesis award.

Vera has strong experience in leadership programme design and delivery. She has worked in a variety of industries giving her unique perspectives on the application of leadership in different environments and contexts.

Beatrice “Bee” Arthur, Fashion Consultant, Gender Development Project, Ewuraba.com
Beatrice is the Proprietor and Designer of B'ExotiQ. The nature of business: Fashion Designing and manufacturers of garments, interior decorators. She is of Ghanaian and Russian heritage. She studied art in Ukraine, and then acquired a BA in Sociology & Spanish, University of Ghana.
Bee speaks fluently in Spanish, French, Russian and English. She loves reading and gardening. Her penchant for fashion started at an early age but she became a professional designer by chance. Notable achievements include winning the 2001 KORA Fashion award, designs photographed by the international fashion photographer, Dean Zulich and featured by Studio 53, MNET, South Africa. Beatrice volunteers on the gender development project (www.ewuraba.com) as a mentor and an inspiration to young African fashion designers and African women in general. She has been associated with the project in an advisory role as an African Fashion Consultant since its inception 2006. She was one of the first five African fashion designers profiled by the project.

Irene is an aspiring Ghanaian fashion accessories designer, who specializes in beaded accessories including necklaces, bracelets, and ear-rings. The label is known as Plurale by INKA (www.inkaplurale.wordpress.com). Irene placed third in the 2008 International Young Fashion Entrepreneur (IYFEY) event. INKA started making beaded jewellery 10 years ago and has since improved and incorporated new methods and trendy ways of fusing different stones together. Her creations are all about incorporating beads into all forms of accessories. Each item is custom made to suit the customer and making a unique connection. She has been associated with the gender development project (www.ewuraba.com) in an advisory role as an African Fashion Consultant and relationships manager since its inception 2006.
